UAE Foreign Minister, Greek Defence Minister discuss bilateral relations

Abu Dhabi, Feb. 18 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with Nikos Dendias, Minister of National Defence of Greece.

The meeting aimed to discuss the comprehensive strategic partnership and friendly relations between the two countries and means to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025.

Both sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and reviewed developments in the region.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed highlighted the growing and advancing relations between the UAE and Greece and their shared commitment to further developing their comprehensive strategic partnership.

IDEX 2025 and NAVDEX 2025 commenced yesterday in Abu Dhabi and will continue until February 21. The exhibitions bring together leading global defence companies, decision-makers, and industry experts to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the defence sector to enhance global security.
