Saudi Arabia suspends entry of non-Citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families from 20 Countries
Riyadh, Feb.2 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior announced that a temporary suspension for entry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been enforced on non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the Republic of Argentina, Federal Republic of Brazil, Arab Republic of Egypt, Republic of France, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of India and the Republic of Indonesia.
The measure applies also to the Republic of Ireland, Republic of Italy, Japan, Republic of Lebanon, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Portugal, Republic of South Africa, Kingdom of Sweden, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the the United States of America.
The temporary suspension includes whoever comes from other countries if he/she passed through any of the aforementioned countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabioa.
An Interior Ministry’s official source said that the citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the aforementioned countries or those who transited any of those countries during the 14 days preceding their return to the Kingdom will enter the Kingdom in accordance with the precautionary measures imposed by the Ministry of Health.
The ministry pointed out that the temporary suspension will go into force on 03/02/2021 at 21:00 pm.
