Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): The Interior Ministry’s show jumping team won first place in the Grand Prix of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Showjumping Championship.

The event, organised by BREEF, was held at the Military Sports Union arena.

Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, the team’s supervisor, extended his highest congratulations to His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He also commended the support and close follow-up of the Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, to all sports teams during their participation in local, regional and international championships, which has contributed to achieving outstanding sporting results.

He expressed appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, and to Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee, for their preparation, organisation and supervision of the championship, which ensured its success. He also thanked the Military Sports Union for its efforts in preparation and organisation.
