Manama, July 30 (BNA): The Asian Table Tennis Union has announced the appointment of Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, as Acting Regional Vice-President for Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) West Asia.

Khalil Al Mohannadi, President of the ATTU, said that Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz has played a pivotal role in the Union’s development since his election as President in 2021, and since her appointment in the same year as Chairperson of the Union’s Constitution Review Committee.

He praised her leadership and administrative skills, saying: "We have full confidence in her ability to lead the West Asia region towards new horizons of excellence and achievement. Her insightful vision and unwavering commitment to advancing table tennis in Asia are the driving forces behind this appointment."
