Over 20 million pilgrims benefit from grand mosque's advanced services in 1446 AH
Makkah, July 8 (BNA): The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque dedicated significant efforts to pilgrims and visitors throughout the year 1446 AH, offering diverse and high-level services to Grand Mosque visitors every day.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the authority reported that over 20 million people benefited from its advanced services, including more than 17 million who used directional guidance. Additionally, over 3.66 million Zamzam water bottles were distributed. More than 3.28 million people utilized cart services, and over 227,000 used the luggage storage service.
In terms of rituals, over 525,000 pilgrims benefited from the Tahalul service. Over 9,700 tons of waste were removed to maintain cleanliness around the Grand Mosque and its courtyards.
The authority reaffirmed its commitment to excellence, aligning with the Kingdom's vision for serving the two holy mosques, delivering high-quality services, and enriching the experiences of pilgrims and visitors.
