Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): As part of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club’s (REHC) ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with leading international institutions, the Club has renewed its partnership with Charles Russell Speechlys Law Firm as a silver sponsor for the 2025–2026 horseracing season. The sponsorship covers one of the races in a Bahrain International Championship event, one of the most prominent championships on the regional and global racing calendar.

Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of REHC, said that the partnership extends the distinguished relations between the two sides and reflects international institutions’ confidence in the status that horseracing in the Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved, thanks to the continuous patronage and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He added that the sustained cooperation with Charles Russell Speechlys, one of the leading international law firms with extensive expertise in the sports and business sectors, represents an added value to the Club’s efforts in developing a professional horseracing infrastructure and supports its work to strengthen the Kingdom’s presence internationally as a preferred destination for hosting and organising major races.

This came as Buheji attended the signing ceremony of the sponsorship renewal agreement, which was signed by Fatema Al Balooshi, Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at REHC, and Mazin Al Mardhi, Partner at Charles Russell Speechlys.

On his part, Mazin Al Mardhi expressed the company’s pride in continuing its cooperation with REHC following the significant successes achieved through the partnership last season. He affirmed the firm’s commitment to supporting major sporting activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and contributing to enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading sporting and economic centre in the region.
