Norris secured pole position in Monaco Grand Prix
Monaco, May 24 (BNA): British driver Lando Norris, of McLaren, secured pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix in the Formula One World Championship, ahead of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), who came second, in a decisive start on a circuit known for limited overtaking opportunities.
Oscar Piastri, the championship leader and McLaren driver, took third place, followed by Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) in fourth and Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in fifth.
McLaren showed strong performance with two drivers at the front, while Hamilton regained momentum after a crash during practice. Analysts expect a strategic race with a mandatory second pit stop, as Piastri aims to extend his 13-point lead.
