Cairo, Dec. 27 (BNA): Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates, discussed regional developments during a telephone call with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the call addressed the situation in the Gaza Strip and the importance of coordinated international efforts to ensure the consolidation of the ceasefire agreement and a transition to the second phase of the plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. The discussions also covered developments in Sudan and the Horn of Africa.
