Manama, Oct. 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (62) of 2025 appointing representatives of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Board of Directors of the Qatar–Bahrain Causeway Foundation, based on the proposal of the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The edict stipulates the appointment of the following officials as members of the Board:

1. Yousef Abdullah Hamood, Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.

2. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, Chief Executive of the Urban Planning and Development Authority.

3. Hussain Ali Yaqoub, Assistant Undersecretary for Land Transport at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.

4. Ahmed Sami Al Tajer, Assistant Undersecretary for Roads at the Ministry of Works.

Their membership shall be for a term of three years, renewable.

The ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
