Geneva, Oct. 20 (BNA): The administrative and media staff accompanying Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation to the 151st General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) participated in a coordination meeting for delegation support teams, held in Geneva.

The team was briefed on the coordination procedures and logistical services provided by the IPU Secretariat to parliamentary delegations attending the General Assembly. They also discussed the Secretariat’s role in preparing surveys and evaluations, in which parliamentary delegation administrators actively participate.

The staff were further briefed about preparations for the upcoming 152nd IPU General Assembly, scheduled to be held in Türkiye from April 15-19, 2026.

The IPU Secretariat expressed its appreciation to Bahrain for the parliamentary delegation’s ongoing dedication and active engagement in responding to the Union’s regular surveys across various sectors.

The Secretariat commended Bahrain’s timely submission of its views and proposals, underscoring the delegation’s commitment to collaboration and transparency.
