New Delhi, Aug. 21 (BNA): At least four workers were killed and two others injured in a gas leak at a pharmaceutical factory in Maharashtra, western India.

Subhash Bhagat, an official in Palghar district, said the incident occurred at a Medley Pharma plant and is believed to have been caused by a nitrogen gas leak.

He added that the injured are receiving treatment in hospital, while authorities have shut down the industrial unit and launched an investigation into the incident.
