Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,992.74 points, marking an increase of 9.49 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector and material sector.

Bahrain lslamic Index has closed at 972.16 points, marking an increase of 11.50 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 199 equity transactions took place with a volume of 20,649,922 worth BD 4,693,607.

Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 89.46% of the total value of securities traded.
