Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,909.01 points, marking an increase of 2.75 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to a rise in the industrials sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 921.87 points, marking a decrease of 1.94 points below the previous closing.

Results indicated that 140 equity transactions took place with a volume of 747,795 worth BD 369,886.

Investors traded mainly in the materials sector, representing 60.72% of the total value of securities traded.
