Manama, June 17 (BNA):  Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,910.16 points, marking an increase of 5.73 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector and the financial sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 792.88 points, marking an increase of 3.07 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 54 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,207,174 worth BD 290,409.

Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 75.99% of the total value of securities traded.
