Jordan King highlights to UK PM need for international community to stop Israeli attacks on Gaza
Amman, Mar. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Abdullah II, in a phone call with Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, emphasised the need for the international community to take immediate action to halt Israel’s attacks on Gaza and to reinstate the ceasefire. His Majesty warned of the dangers of continued attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and violations of holy sites in Jerusalem.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), His Majesty also underlined the importance of resuming the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza to help alleviate the catastrophic humanitarian situation, and reiterated Jordan’s rejection of the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
His Majesty also expressed Jordan’s support for efforts to preserve Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and stability.
