Manama, July 31 (BNA): Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Steven C. Bondy, the outgoing United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad underscored the longstanding Bahrain–US relations and strategic partnership, marked by decades of close cooperation and coordination in pursuit of shared goals and mutual interests.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the efforts of the US Ambassador in strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States.

The meeting reviewed various topics of common interest.
