Aqaba, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan received Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of Germany.

The meeting discussed means to strengthen the partnership between Jordan and Germany, covering the deep-rooted ties between the two countries, with

HM King Abdullah II emphasised the importance of expanding cooperation in various domains, including economic and defence cooperation, and continuing to coordinate in support of efforts to achieve stability in the region, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

For his part, Chancellor Merz expressed Germany’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with Jordan across various sectors.
