HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman meets with members of the Gulf Horseracing Council
Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), today met with members of the Gulf Horseracing Council.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman affirmed the importance of preserving the GCC’s rich horseracing heritage and enhancing its contribution to the Kingdom’s sports and economic sectors. His Highness further emphasised that ongoing efforts to advance equestrian sport reinforce the region’s standing as a leading hub for horseracing and strengthens its international position.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting plans and initiatives that promote GCC cooperation and strengthening the development of equestrian sport, aligned with the GCC leaders’ aspirations.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended the efforts of the Council in unifying visions and strengthening partnerships among member states, in line with enhancing the region’s capabilities in hosting and organising prestigious horse racing competitions.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman underscored the importance of sharing expertise to advance equestrian sports and strengthen the GCC’s regional and international presence.
For their part, members of the Council expressed their gratitude for His Highness’s commitment to strengthening GCC cooperation across equestrian sports, and extended their best wishes for the Kingdom’s continued progress and prosperity.
