Finance Minister commends ministry team for 2025–2026 budget preparation
Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with national affiliates from the Ministry who were involved in several strategic projects, including preparing the draft law approving the state general budget for the fiscal years 2025–2026 in cooperation and coordination with various ministries and government entities.
The Minister highlighted that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s progress is driven by the determination and efforts of its citizens, in line with the Kingdom’s development goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa commended the cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, noting the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing coordination to ensure the approval of the 2025–2026 state budget law, to support further economic development and progress.
The Minister emphasised the importance of unified national efforts in achieving strategic objectives, noting that Bahrain’s progress reflects effective coordination between the executive and legislative authorities.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa underscored the Ministry’s commitment to implementing the state budget according to national priorities in cooperation with relevant government entities to ensure the delivery of public services, support economic growth, uphold fiscal sustainability, enhance expenditure efficiency, and encourage investment.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa also commended the efforts of the government teams from various entities in preparing the budget, highlighting their commitment to developing a transparent and realistic budget grounded in international best practices.
