Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,910.33 points, marking an increase of 7.16 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector and the real estate sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 793.34 points, marking an increase of 7.74 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 70 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,669,834 worth BD 366,474.

Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 55.95% of the total value of securities traded.
