CSB successfully completes first external audit of ISO quality management system

Manama, Mar. 25 (BNA): As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and implement the best administrative practices, the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has successfully passed the first surveillance audit for its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. The audit is part of a regular assessment to ensure continued compliance with international standards.

The audit involved a comprehensive review of the Bureau’s administrative procedures, operational processes, and services to assess adherence to ISO quality requirements and evaluate the effectiveness of the system in line with approved policies and principles of continuous improvement.

Amal Isa Ateeq, Director of Organisational Performance at the CSB, said that successfully passing this phase of the external audit reflects the Bureau’s continued commitment to implementing quality system requirements with high efficiency and in accordance with leading standards of excellence. She highlighted the efforts of the working teams in developing processes and services aligned with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which considers continuous improvement a cornerstone of sustainable development.

Ateeq added that this achievement marks a significant step in CSB’s ongoing efforts to enhance its operational framework, contributing to greater confidence among stakeholders and service users in the quality and efficiency of its offerings.

She affirmed that the Bureau continues to review and update its systems to meet stakeholder expectations and remains committed to executing its comprehensive improvement plan for quality management, ensuring the retention of international certification and the sustainability of service excellence.
