Manama, Dec. 5 (BNA): In the presence of His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the REHC held the seventh race of the 2025–2026 season at its racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir, over the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Cups.

The eight-round race was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, along with representatives of NBB, the official sponsor of the event. A large audience of equestrian sports enthusiasts also enjoyed strong competition featuring notable results and surprises, in addition to the entertainment activities that distinguish the Club’s weekly horseracing meetings.

Winners of the NBB Cups were announced as follows:

His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa received the third-round trophy from Usman Ahmed, Group CEO of NBB; the fifth-round trophy from Isa Maseeh, NBB Board Member; and the sixth-round trophy from Ahmed Al Maskati, Head of Product Development and Project Management at NBB.

His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received the seventh-round trophy from Abdulla bin Hindi, Senior Manager of Strategic Accounts at NBB, while Yusuf Ahmed, Head of Prestige Banking, presented the eighth-round trophy to Nadia Al Alawi.

Abdulaziz Al Ahmed, CEO for Strategic Accounts, presented the first-round trophy to winning trainer Yousif Taher; Isa Maseeh presented the second-round trophy to assistant trainer Ishaq Murad; and Ali Abdulkarim, Group Chief Executive of Corporate and Commercial Banking, presented the fourth-round trophy to winning owner Hadi Al Afoo.
