Brussels, Nov. 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium received the credentials of Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, during a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Brussels.

Dr. Behzad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to His Majesty King Philippe, along with their best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Belgium.

His Majesty King Philippe relayed his greetings to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Majesty wished Dr. Behzad success in his diplomatic duties.

The meeting discussed the distinguished relations and ongoing cooperation between the two countries across various domains, and means to further expand these ties to meet shared aspirations. Regional and international issues of shared interest were also reviewed.
