Manama, Sep. 23 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today discussed with Tamkeen’s Executive Director Dr. Ibrahim Janahi boosting cooperation to promote the cultural scene. 

The BACA’s President highlighted keenness to forge strong partnerships with various sides to enhance the local cultural movement, expressing appreciation of Tamkeen’s promotion to youth and cultural activities. 

The BACA’s President gave an overview of the 2018 cultural agenda, mainly Bahrain’s celebrations of Muharraq as Capital of Islamic Culture, noting the BACA’s preparation for celebrating Bahrain’s of economic, social achievements titled (From jubilee to another). 

Dr. Janahi lauded the BACA’s efforts to upgrade the cultural movement, stressing readiness to support the cultural projects to accentuate the civilizational achievements at the local and international levels.
