Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, received Nasser bin Abdullah Al Nassr, the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Qatar, noting the steady momentum in cooperation across various sectors.

Discussions focused on expanding of cooperation in ways that advance mutual interests and benefit both nations and their peoples.  He also wished the ambassador every success in carrying out his duties.

Ambassador Al Nasser affirmed Qatar’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the shared aspirations of the two countries.
