Manama, Feb, 21 (BNA): The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) concluded its promotional roadshow held from February 12 to 19, 2025, at iGA’s stand in Bahrain City Centre Mall.

The roadshow aimed at introducing the newly launched MyGov app and the eKey 2.0 to the public on the eGovernment Apps Store Bahrain.bh/apps and providing any support they may require.

The roadshow saw significant public engagement, with over 2000 visitors to the stand interacting with the apps, inquiring, and completing the registration process.

This reflects the citizens and residents interest in adopting and benefiting from the new technologies in digital services. The iGA stated that this roadshow is part of the overall marketing campaign aimed at raising awareness and promoting the two major apps.

This initiative aligns with the ongoing efforts to reinforce digital literacy among citizens and residents, and to increase awareness of the digital services provided.

The iGA commended the positive feedback and interactions shown by the public towards the app's and its features in facilitating the easy access to services.

iGA highly values the constructive suggestions and comments received, which will contribute to improving the apps in the next phases to meet the needs of citizens and residents.

The authority emphasised that such awareness roadshows reflect its continuous commitment to facilitating citizens' and residents' access to eGovernment services easily and enhancing accessibility to digital services through various channels.

This, in turn, will add value in accelerating transaction procedures and improves the overall user experience.

iGA will continue organizing such events that support its efforts to reinforce digital transformation in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The MyGov app is an innovative digital platform that provides users with a unified access experience to 41 government services offered by 9 government entities in its first phase.

These services include identity card services, traffic services, and more.

The eKey 2.0 app provides citizens and residents with a secure and easy way to access government services using biometric authentication (face recognition) without the need for a password, helping to speed up transactions and reduce time and effort.

MyGov and eKey 2.0 apps can be downloaded via the eGovernment app store at bahrain.bh/apps
