Abu Dhabi, Apr. 15 (BNA): His Highness Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the headquarters of the United Arab Emirates Presidential Guard Command Alforsan Brigade today in Abu Dhabi.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman was received by Brigadier General Waheed Yousif Al-Aldhuhoori, Commander of the Alforsan Brigade Presidential Guard, along with other senior officers.

The visit reflects the ongoing bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness highlighted the strength of the longstanding and historic relationship between Bahrain and the UAE, built on a solid foundation of multisectoral collaboration. This partnership continues to be supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the continued advancement of Bahrain-UAE relations, particularly in the military and defence sectors, for the mutual benefit of both nations.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the origins and development of the UAE Presidential Guard Command Alforsan Brigade, its capabilities, operational readiness, and future plans aimed at further enhancing its efficiency and combat readiness in fulfilling national duties.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman also toured advanced military systems and the latest operational technologies, observing a series of live demonstrations conducted by units of the UAE Presidential Guard Command Headquarters Cavalry Brigade.

His Highness praised the UAE Armed Forces for their effective role alongside allied forces in enhancing regional security and stability. His Highness noted that such efforts are instrumental in driving economic growth, sustainability, and prosperity both regionally and globally.

HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman expressed his sincere appreciation to the Commander and all members of the UAE Presidential Guard Command Alforsan Brigade for their warm welcome, and wished them continued success and prosperity.
