Commander-in-Chief receeives GCC Unified Military Command, Peninsula Shield Forces Commanders
Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi, Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, and Major General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Ruwais, Commander of the Peninsula Shield Forces.
Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Financial and Technical Affairs at the BDF General Command, were present.
The Commander-in-Chief commended the continued efforts of both commands in strengthening and advancing joint defence cooperation and integration among GCC member states.
