Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, received Brigadier Nicholas Wight-Boycott, Commander of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and a number of officials from the UK Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed appreciation for the prominent role played by the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in preparing and qualifying military leaders, emphasising Bahrain’s commitment to continue enhancing cooperation with the UK in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting also discussed aspects of joint cooperation and means to enhance it, particularly in military training and qualification and the exchange of expertise, to support common interests and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
