Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today with the Acting Secretary General and Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Educational Institutions at the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, Mashael Qutami Al Qutami, at Riffa Palace.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom of Bahrain regards the education sector as a vital pillar supporting its development process.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman affirmed the importance of advancing the Kingdom’s educational system in line with best practices aimed at enhancing the quality of educational outcomes for Bahraini citizens.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman was briefed on the Trust’s strategic plans, future initiatives, and ongoing development programmes designed to expand educational opportunities and increase the number of beneficiaries.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman was also briefed on the progress of the Trust’s operational procedures to ensure the sustainability of its mission in supporting education.

During the meeting, the plans for the 12th intake of educational scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, covering both government and private universities in Bahrain, were reviewed.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended the collaborative efforts of the institutions and stakeholders supporting the Trust’s initiatives to enrich the scholarship framework and provide promising educational opportunities for Bahrainis.

Mashael Al Qutami expressed her gratitude for His Highness’s commitment to supporting the Trust’s initiatives, which align with the Kingdom’s aspirations.
