Youth Minister lauds the launch of youth creativity and innovation team at CSB
Manama, Oct. 3 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, praised the Civil Service Bureau (CBS)’s launch of a youth creativity and innovation team, describing it as a forward-looking initiative that reflects national confidence in the abilities of young Bahrainis and their capacity to generate fresh ideas that enhance institutional performance. She noted that this is the second youth-focused committee to be established across government bodies.
The minister said the step aligns with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to empower young people and create space for them to present proposals and initiatives that drive development and innovation within the public sector.
She commended the leadership of Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, CSB President, for launching initiatives that strengthen the role of youth in government institutions. She added that this initiative reflects a progressive outlook on investing in national talent and underscores confidence in young people’s ability to shape new initiatives and foster a modern, dynamic work culture built on creativity and leadership.
Tawfiqi affirmed her ministry’s support for youth-centred national programmes, stressing that the new team carries a vital responsibility in showcasing the energy, dedication, and innovative spirit of Bahraini youth, and in contributing to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
