Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a number of judges at Al Safriya Palace, who took the legal oath before him following the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing them as judges at the Court of Cassation and the High Civil Court of Appeal.

His Majesty the King congratulated the newly appointed judges, wishing them success in their duties, and underscored Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening justice and the rule of law.

His Majesty the King expressed pride in the judges of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who bear the responsibility of safeguarding the rights of citizens and residents, and upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law.  His Majesty highlighted the noble mission of the judiciary and its role in the progress and development of society.

His Majesty the King underscored the commitment to safeguard the independence of the judiciary, support judicial authority, and provide it with qualified professionals, given its essential role in protecting rights and enhancing the security and stability of society.

His Majesty the King also commended Bahrain’s longstanding judicial tradition and the pioneering achievements it has attained.

On their part, the newly appointed judges expressed their appreciation for the Royal trust bestowed upon them, emphasising their dedication to upholding the rule of law with integrity and sincerity.
