Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, observed part of Polish athlete Robert Karaś's attempt to set a world record in Bahrain for the most consecutive days completing Ironman distances in a 150-day ultra-triathlon challenge.

HH Shaikh Nasser acknowledged that Karaś has already completed 24 days of his journey and expressed full confidence in the athlete’s ability to overcome the challenges ahead during the remaining 126 days, believing that Karaś will secure his place in the records of sports history, starting from Bahrain.

Karaś covers a total of 226 kilometres daily, divided into triathlon segments: a 3.8-kilometre swim, a 180-kilometre bike ride, and a 42.2-kilometre run. He repeats this sequence for 150 consecutive days to achieve this extraordinary accomplishment.
