HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister visits several Ramadan majlises

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited the majlises of His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), as well as the Al-Musallam and the Al Zayani families.

His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, was also present at the majlis of His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness affirmed that dedication to the Kingdom of Bahrain is the basis for achieving national successes that contribute to Bahrain’s development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that Bahrain’s developmental ambitions are boundless, expressing confidence in the national workforce which has demonstrated its ability to enhance the Kingdom’s competitiveness and strengthen its leading position in various fields.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted that the existing partnership between the Executive and Legislative Branches has had a great impact on achieving many successes that have benefited the Kingdom and its citizens.

His Royal Highness affirmed that the collective dedication of all members of Team Bahrain has advanced the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision, including growing the national economy more than fivefold since 2000. His Royal Highness also noted that the launch of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 in 2008 further accelerated this growth and supported economic diversification.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to implementing various programmes to develop sectors that bolster economic growth and provide more promising opportunities for all citizens by expanding employment prospects.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the ongoing provision and development of social services for citizens, and the utilisation of all national resources to meet the needs of Bahrainis.

His Royal Highness also exchanged Ramadan greetings with the hosts and attendees of the majlises, underscoring the importance of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to mosques across all its governorates through its plan to open and renovate them, recognising their role in facilitating prayers and reinforcing religious values and morals within Bahraini society.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted that Ramadan majlises contribute to strengthening societal cohesion and harmony, stressing the importance of preserving these customs and traditions for future generations.

For their part, the heads of the majlises expressed their sincere gratitude for His Royal Highness’ continued commitment to engaging with Bahraini society and conveyed their wishes for the Kingdom’s ongoing progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, as well as several senior officials, were also in attendance.
