PDTRA, Colosseum forge historic twin-site agreement
Amman, Mar. 24 (BNA): The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) and the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum in Rome have signed a twinning agreement, establishing a framework for cultural and tourism cooperation.
The agreement aims to promote collaboration between the two sites, both recognised as New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007 and to enhance cultural exchange and tourism promotion, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
The agreement focuses on areas of cooperation including joint workshops on archaeological preservation, cultural events, and information exchange. It also includes plans for reciprocal visitor programs and the exchange of media materials.
