Nouakchott, Mar. 20 (BNA):  Thiam Tidjani, the Minister of Mines and Industry of Mauritania, met with Marianna Saal, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Mauritania, to discuss efforts to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in mining and industry.

The ambassador emphasised her country’s keenness to enhance relations with Mauritania, noting that Finland possesses advanced expertise and technologies in the fields of mining and manufacturing industries, which can contribute to supporting economic development in Mauritania, according to Mauritanian News Agency (AMI).

The meeting comes as part of Mauritania’s efforts to attract foreign investments and strengthen partnerships with leading countries in the technological field, as Finland is one of the most prominent European actors in the industrial and mining sectors.
