As part of HM King (state visit) to Oman, Bahrain and Oman sign MoU between Public Administration Institute and Royal Academy of Administration

Muscat, Jan. 16 (BNA): As part of the (state visit) of his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Sultanate of Oman, at the invitation of His majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, the executive programme for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) were signed between the Public Administration Institute and the Royal Academy of Administration in Oman.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on behalf of Bahrain and Badr Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of Oman.

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Public Administration Institute, highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with administrative institutions across GCC countries. She emphasised that such collaboration contributes to unifying visions and strategies aimed at empowering and training national and Gulf cadres to enhance institutional performance in line with the comprehensive development witnessed by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Dr. Shaikha Rana bin Isa noted that the partnership with the Royal Academy of Administration aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in administrative development, training, and institutional capacity building.

These efforts focus on investing in human capital by providing high quality educational and training services. She added that such partnerships open new means for collaboration, developing the exchange of expertise and knowledge to achieve greater integration within the Gulf’s institutional framework across various sectors.
