Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, held a meeting with Ramadan Ahmed Abu Janah, the Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister-designate in the State of Libya, on the sidelines of the 15th Arab-German Health Forum, and the Manama Health Congress and Expo 2023, hosted by Bahrain.

The minister lauded the fraternal Bahrani-Libyan relations. She discussed with Abu Janah ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the health field to achieve common interests.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister-designate in the State of Libya affirmed the depth of bilateral relations, affirming his pride in his country’s common bonds with the kingdom, and expressing hope that joint cooperation in the health field will be developed in the coming period.

He hailed Bahrain’s successful health insurance programme, expressing keenness to take advantage of Bahrain’s experience in this regard. He wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
