IPA Director General concludes BDB third edition leadership programme
Manama, July 13 (BNA): Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), attended the closing ceremony of the third edition of the leadership programme for members of the Bahrain Development Bank (BDB).
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa highlighted the institute’s ongoing efforts to develop leadership programmes that build national talent. These efforts are aligned with institutional needs and international best practices, helping to strengthen Bahraini capabilities and support national development.
The programme featured intensive training sessions and interactive workshops covering leadership skills, project management, design thinking, and innovation. It aimed to equip participants with the tools to drive change and deliver value in their work environments.
Dalal Al Qais, Chief Executive Officer of the BDB Group, expressed pride in the participants' achievements. She commended the ideas and projects developed, saying they will improve operations and leadership capabilities within the bank. She highlighted that partnering with IPA is a key part of the bank’s strategy to develop future leaders.
Hend Mahmood, Chief Human Resources Officer at the BDB Group, underscored that the initiative represents a significant step toward supporting the institutional environment through the development of leadership skills among bank employees. She affirmed that human capital development remains a top priority for the bank, as it is the most vital element in achieving sustainability and institutional excellence.
