Abu Dhabi, Mar. 11 (BNA): The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, strongly condemned the Iranian attack that targeted a residential building in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, resulting in the death of a Bahraini citizen and various injuries.

The Council expresseed its solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain its leadership, government, and people affirming that the targeting of civilians and residential landmarks constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

The Muslim Council of Elders extended its sincere condolences to the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to the family of the deceased, wishing comfort for the bereaved, a swift recovery for the injured, and protection and well being for the Kingdom and its people.
