Jordanian Finance Minister receives IMF Middle East, Central Asia Department Director
Amman, Jan.14 (BNA): Dr. Abdul Hakim Al Shbli, Jordanian Minister of Finance, met with Dr. Jihad Azour, Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Middle East and Central Asia, to discuss Jordan's economic reforms.
The meeting focused on recent developments in Jordan's national economic and fiscal reform programme amid ongoing regional pressures.
Dr. Azour commended Jordan's economic and fiscal performance, expressing the IMF's support for Jordan's structural reforms aimed at boosting investment and growth, according to the Jordan New Agency (PETRA).
The meeting was part of Dr. Azour's broader visit to Jordan, which included discussions with several ministers and officials.
