Cairo, May 28 (BNA): Major General Adel Aen, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, headed the Ministry’s delegation to the joint Arab meeting on "Assessing legal frameworks and strategies for protecting and promoting the rights and needs of victims of terrorism," held at the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

Major General Ameen presented a working paper outlining Bahrain’s efforts and experiences in supporting victims of terrorism. He noted that the Kingdom, in line with its commitment to international human rights standards and the preservation of human dignity, attaches great importance to addressing the rights and needs of terrorism victims.

The meeting included discussions on several key topics, most notably a proposal to establish a voluntary Arab fund to support victims of terrorism. It also featured real-life case studies and a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing Arab cooperation.
