Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Envoy of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness received an invitation on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to attend the upcoming 45th GCC Summit, scheduled to be held in Kuwait next week.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the strength of the historic Bahrain-Kuwait relations and reaffirmed Kuwait’s pivotal role in advancing joint GCC efforts.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's best wishes for the success of the 45th GCC Summit in achieving its objectives.

For his part, HE Al-Yahya expressed his gratitude and appreciation for His Royal Highness’ dedication to strengthening joint GCC cooperation and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.

The Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
