Cairo, Feb. 18 (BNA):  His Excellency Abdel Fatah El Sisi, President of Egypt, heads to the Spanish capital of Madrid on an official visit to Spain, within the framework of cooperation between the two countries.

Presidential spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy said the president will hold talks during the visit with the king and the prime minister of Spain, as well as representatives of some major Spanish companies, Mena News Agency reported.

The president will take part in an economic event to be attended by Spanish businessmen and senior representatives of Spanish companies, added Shennawy.

During the visit, an agreement aimed at promoting relations and partnerships between the two sides will be signed, according to him.

Several memorandums of understanding on cooperation in various domains also be signed.
