Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA):  Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,873.20 points, marking an increase of 8.41 points above the previous closing.

This increase was due to a rise in the communications services, financial, materials, and real estate sectors.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 777.89 points, marking an increase of 3.46 points above the previous closing.

Results indicated that 77 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,362,560 worth BD 297,329.

Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 55.98% of the total value of securities traded.
