Amman, June 11 (BNA): Wissam Tahtamouni, Minister of Transport of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, met with Tariq Zourob, Minister of Transport of the State of Palestine.

Both sides discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in various transport sectors between the two countries.

According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Minister Tahtamouni emphasised the ministry’s commitment to expanding cooperation and exchanging expertise to enhance the efficiency of the transport sector at the national and regional levels.

On his part, Minister Zourob expressed appreciation for the strong Jordanian-Palestinian relations. He underlined the importance of continued coordination in the transport sector to support economic activity and facilitate the movement of individuals and goods.

This meeting comes within the framework of enhancing integration between the two countries, with the aim of developing regional transport projects that support sustainable development.
